EGR is all I could figure, or a boost leak?? Does the truck have good power? I only run 600*-800* cruising depending on how fast, and the load. I also have 3:54 gears, and an auto. I can get mine to 1300* but it takes me from 0-75mph or so. Nothing binding in the drivetrain or anything?

is that plate you have 3/4 forward the stock plate or and aftermarket plate? if it is the stock plate that is your troubles pull it out and grind it! if you have a boost leak you will most likely hear that if it is bad enough to cause high EGT's, what boost are you making on your gauge anyway? i would also agree with 600 megawatts, what does the idle sound like?

Sounds like turbo inefficiency to me
hows the smoke when you actually drive the truck around? if its bad look for a boost leak, If you just replaced the plate or moved it, check the clamp which u loosened to actually move the intake hatt around, if that is loose, ull know and that is probly where ur boost leak occured...

Don't feel bad, I was pulling the GN empty to get it inspected today and looked at the gauge on a little grade and it was on 1500. PHEW.............
I think I need more air.
