HID Relay questions
I bought these head lights
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-P...Q5fAccessories
and after install the the high beam light on my dash always stays on. I know I have to do relays but do I have to do resistors?? And what kind of each do I need? I am definitely a dummy when it comes to this stuff
Also, when I hit the high beam switch it flickers the lights really bad
How exactly do I wire them, and how do I find the low beam and high beam wires?
Is there anything else I need to know?

i'm assuming this new harness plugs into the 9004 bulb sockets???
do a search on 9004 bulb sockets and look for a wiring or pin-out diagram to see which wires are which.
or alternatively, you could get a piercing voltmeter and just pierce the wires while flicking from low to high beam to figure it out. if a wire is pierced and it shows approx 12v while highs are on - then that wire is for the high beam circuit. same goes for the low beam circuit while on low beam. i think - but am not certain, that the ground wire will show nothing.
as for the resistors, just take the rating numbers on the new hids with you to an electronics specialty/hobby shop and have them crunch the numbers to figure out which resistors you need. they should be able to supply you with the resistors also.

bad news. the kit you have does not have high beam. if you can live with low beam only i can send you a drawing to show how to eliminate the current through the switch and also keep the high beam indicator from coming on. the best thing to do is to use a separate switch on the dash to turn them on. i had the same problem on my 06 when i firs started on hid finally bought bi-projectors from a wrecked Honda and retrofitted them. this would be the best thing for you but requires a lot of mechanical skill

This is who I'm going to order mine from http://www.xenongate.com/9004+Hi%25252FLo+HID+Kit.htm . From searching on the forums, they come up all of the time with happy customers!
Good luck,
Nick

I don't care so much about the high beam b/c the HIDs are already bright enough to light up as far as I need to see. I just want to figure out how to turn off the High beam light on my dash so that diagram would be great. Also, If there is no high beam, what is the other bulb in the headlight for?

i did not see the other bulb in the pix, yes this should be your high beam it should be a regular halogen bulb. i will pm you tonight as to how to wire it up also will send instructions on how to adjust to meet dot if those are good projectors, if you tow you need to have your trailer on when you adjust, on the first one i did i did not think about this and went on a trip to Florida. did not get 50 miles and figured out what i did

The HIDs I have are VERY bright. I have MTEC 4500k kit, single kit.
For my high beams I just bout a set of these. I think I will be able to make dark into daylight.
