****, can't wait until I get my ADR working right. Though I'm not sure I have it in me to keep in the throttle that long. Sounds badass, but makes me cringe at the same time.
I wonder what the power curve looks like that high up.

The vp44 can only supply so much fuel at those rpms. If I turn it above pl06, It starts popping around 4200rpm. It probably doesn't make much bragging power up high, but I know I'll have the wheelspeed for pulling, all that I care about. Quad has made history with this box, 4242rpm with no codes!!! The Redline from Bluechip has done it, but not without popping off codes like crazy. Quads the man!!!!

Rumor has it that cummins tests these engines at 50% over max rpm and holds it there (no load) for longer than you or I ever would. (we're talking hours and hours).
In my truck, max rpm is 3200. Add 50% and you're at 4800!

Trust me, the video doesn't do it justice. That engine is screaming at 4200, I'm on stock internals except the HD springs. I'm hoping that the fluidamper stays on there & to be honest, I started shaking so bad, I almost dropped the camera. If you didn't notice.

Actually, I don't believe that rumor at all considering that guys have run just over factory redline, pulled the head & saw marks in the piston from valve float. I know you are at "The Cummins tech center", but I'm calling B.S. on that one.
