I don't know a whole lot about 12 valve trucks, but does the waste gate move?
My waste gate was stuck on my 24v when I got it and boost was through the roof.

You're pushing a pretty good amount of fuel. Did you ever get your hp figured out? I'm still guessing it's over 330. Does it feel like that much? Maybe time for a turbo upgrade or at least housing upgrade to help with egts. Check your boost elbow. If it's fully closed then open it up a little. Try a 1/4 to 1/2 turn counterclockwise at a time.

No havent figured my hp out yet. Im thinkin about 330, from 0 to 80 a 2500 4x4 6.0 powerjunk is about 5 car lengths behind me, thats all I have to go off of. And my allen head on the tst valve is about to fall out its so loose. My afc is about centered, but my plate is still forward. I need to pull it back. with my allen head 1 turn out on the sts valve it ran 48 lbs, and I have only gotten it down to about 42. I was pullin 7000 lbs today with the cruise on at 1900 rpms and it was runnin 900 degrees. how bad is that? and the hp topic, it will spin the wheels right before shifting into 2nd on dry road with no spool up at all. Im gonna try to get it on the dyno tomorrow if I get off work early ebough. And thatk yall for the help, Im learnin alot.

900 u can run all day. I think u can run up to 1200 or so constantly safely. Anything much above that only short burst's at a time.

I slid my plate back a little more, now Im at 34 WOT. But is there anyway to lower the boost with the plate where it was?? how do you adjust the gov arm? is that the arm that has the little clip that you have to take off to get to the pump inspection plate?? or should I leave it be?? how much boost does a stock truck like mine run?? stock has a 180 pump.

is it possible that im only letting it fuel enough to get 34 lbs max and the wastegate still isnt opening. And can they be taken apart and cleaned or just buy a new one?
