Help a newbie out, injector question

Gentelmen,

I have a 95 12V and want to add some power to her. I purchased a #5 fuel plate kit from TST, and wanted to know if adding 275 injectors would be worth it, or would the power gains from the fuel plate counteract the injectors? I have a CAI, exhaust, and gauges currently and now I'm ready for some more power.

Thanks

The fuel plate wouldn't counteract the injecotrs at all it would only add. If you're looking for a small power bump the 215's may be right for you, but if you're wanting a fair sized power increase you'll probably need to look at something a little bigger than 215's. @ other things that you should do if you're ready for power is a timing advance and a GSK.

Yes, the injectors and the plate will mean you will have even more power...

But the big question will be what kind of tranny do you have? If it's an auto, then you'll be at it's limit with just the plate, and start saving for a build-up.

Check out New Era Diesel. They have some nice injectors for a good price, and they have the correct spray pattern for our trucks.

The truck has a 5 speed manual. It still has the original clutch (with 188k) so a better clutch setup is definately in order. The fifth gear "nut" job was done about 10k ago so internally the tranny should be fine.
