help my truck is surgeing
i need some help here i noticed today that when i was going down the road just cruising when i went to ease in to it my truck started surgeing in od at about 45 mph and my rpms were at 1400-1500 and it done it about three times today but all the same cases as far mph and rpms but it wont do it when you really go to get one it it feels like it is in and out of lock up the other day i got up under there and pulled the dust cover off of the bellhouseing and the t/c looked silver so i wounder if it is aftermarket i bout the truck used and just had the vp replaces not 400 niles ago so any help would be appreciated.

by surging do you mean your rpms jumping 2 or 3 hundred off and on? if so, pull your throttle position sensor off and clean it up really good, then put it back on and see if that stops the problem.
