Help me if you can

Okay im lookin at gettin probably a 4k gsk and maybe a set of delivery valves. I am gettin ready to order a full 4" exhaust. My question is should i be gettin these things or are there other bombs that should come first? thanks for the help mitchell

nope u have an awesome setup...just grind that plate to a 100 profile and u'll relaly enjoy the gsks to their fullest...look at ur stock plate it has a defuel "step" as u travel up slightly...thats gonna suck...cut that off at least

i would suggest you keep the rpm below 3500 unless you have a good set of retainers, i am lucky. i caught mine right before i dropped a valve.

So should i go with a 3k gsk or jus not run it to 4k if i get the higher kit? Also how exactly do u grind a plate an make sure its at the right profile

I have the 3k gsk, and its by far the best thing thats been done to my truck IMO, as of a fuel plate, look at my gallery, I ground my stock one into a 10-4 plate, which I think is better than the 100 plate, it gives you a little top end defuel so your egt's don't spike so bad at high rpms, but it has the same low end profile as the 100. Make sure you dip the plate in water often while grinding, so you do not take the heat treating out of it. Also make sure your gov. arm is properly ajusted, it helps alot.
