There are 2 brands of "Buckshot Mudders"
The older Gateway brand is a more crude industrial type of tire and IMO a better tire. I guess gateway has all but gone out of business but still make acouple radial sizes and a few bias sizes.
"Maxxis" brand are more road friendly radials which dont flatspot but are softer and a little rounder tread.
I've been trying to find 305/85 16 gateway radial mudders for about a year now, tall and narrow 10ply's with 3600+lb load rating, great tire I've had before but very scarce. Did find a set at the local LesSchwab for $1174, but all Maxxis sizes are readily availible.
if you're looking for Maxxis brand look here:

If you're looking for the Gateway version, look here:

I also did EBAY for our 315 Maxxis Mudders. Discount Tire wanted over $200 each before certs. With the amount I saved I can afford to buy two more if they get damaged. I got them with shipping included and mount and balanced at a friends shop. So far they have been a good tire. They have 5K with no noticable wear yet and have been outstanding in mud and rock (even very loose base) hills.

E-bay here too. It cost me $500 for a set of 4, 315's. The only problem I have with them is they got choppy in the front. I simply rotated them, and now they are clearing up. I have about 25k miles on them, and 1/2 the tread left.

Digging up dirt
Found this old thread, anyone running the Buckshots? I had a set many years ago and they were one of the best tires I ever used. Technology has changed since then, so there must be other options but is anyone running the Buckshot Maxiis?

I had some of those buckshots. Had a small rock embed itself in the tire and it started leaking. Not one of the better set of tires I've ever had. I just bought some Dunlop mudrovers. I love the tread pattern and got them for $135 a piece at the goodyear dealer. You should check them out if you can't get the buckshots.
