Welcome to DTR Just say no to smoke, though it gives our hobby a bad name...plus, on a street driven 12-valve, smoke=inefficiancy. Just enough of a puff to get the charger spooling and then a dark haze at WOT is what you're after. Have you dug into the AFC other than to mess with the plate? There's a LOT of power left on the table when guys 'gut' the AFC, or move everything 'full forward'. Every truck is different, as well as every pump, it just takes a lot of trial and error.

If you're on the stock charger, you don't want to go terribly large. 5x12 would be plenty. Those will take you well past 500 hp with a larger turbo.

Tate, I hope you didn't take my post to mean that gutting the AFC or pusing everything ff is a good thing...I meant quite the opposite, just trying to point out that those practices seem to be looked at as a good thing by many, and was trying to steer the original poster away from that mentality.

Yea im not goin to gut anything on the afc. Ive had all my buddys trying to talk me into it but id rather not im wanting to get a 3k gsk and a set of injectors and i think ill be happy with the truck . How much more power will i see with a gsk
