Help finish my truck, 400 hp
Well if yall look at my sig you can see where Im at now. Im going to a HTB2 62/12 and just wanted yalls experience to help finish her to my (at lowest)400 RWHP goal. I haul 7,000 lbs on the flat sea level ground of Florida 3 days a week, and play the rest I can fuel my stock HX-35 to 50 lbs with my # 10 full forward (I have it slid back to run 40). Any help would be very much appreciated. And can I go over 400 with a single and still tow my lil 7,000 lbs? If so can yall help me build it. I want to try and stay away from a new Head gasket and have ok egt's is why I set my goal at 400. Also I dont wanna go with any higher than stock RPM's. Thanks

hostly I'd get a 3 gsk. I know you don't want to go over stcok rpms, well a 3k isn't much over stock and even if you don't run it all the way out you'll still feel it.

Since you have a 215 pump you don't need to add anything else fuel wise (just some small tweaks will get you there) and then with a turbo and timing you'll be set! If you want PM me and I'll tell you what to do...

well, I believe that 400 can be achieved with stock rpms. I may have to fuel a little more but It can be done right? I may go with a 3k, I thought about and did some research bout 3 months ago. Everyone seems to love it, I just wanted to be a little different with my setup. I should lose some boost pressure in exchange for quantity when I get a bigger charger. Im want to stay away from a head gasket if I can ( for now) thats should be possible right? Thanks for the help, and do yall think I can fuel a 14cm housing ok? I have been debating that also.

I know the 12v's run a bit hotter, but when I had the VP on my truck with the SPS62, I could not break 1300 degrees at all, and it would've been right around 400 rwhp. I think it would have been a good towing setup.

50lbs...How? I can barely get mine to 33lbs, what can I do to get it to 40?, fuel isn't an issue at all with the injectors, and 0 plate, just can't get boost that high

Adjusting the governor arm to hit the plate a little higher than normal moves some fuel to the lower rpms if you decide to not go with a GS3K. Its smokier but you can mess with the AFC a little and with a 62/12 it should clear up.
If you want to keep that gasket from popping Id look at some studs. possibly one of those cometic gaskets if you want to try one after the OEM one lets go. Cheaper than o-rings.
