$400 bucks....?? WOW where did you find that price? I think I paid right around $200 for mine.

EDIT: I remember now......that rocky mountain suspension does sell a kit for the diesels and it is almost $400. But trust me, don't spend the extra money if you don't want to, the one for the 3/4 ton gas motors works just fine!

I paid right at $400 for the body lift on my 1500 too... it was just about the same price anywhere I looked.

The body lift they have listed for diesel motors is I believe only for 01-02s or something wierd like that... doesn't make sense.

Well yeah, they all say "does not fit on models with diesel engine" or something like that. They work just fine....like I said I bought the one for a 3/4 ton Dodge with a gas motor and mine has been 100% fine since installed.

The only one I've ever seen that says that it will work on a diesel is from the Rocky Mountain Suspension place. But it is around $400 bucks and I don't see why you need to spend the money when the same kit for a gas motor will work and is almost $200 bucks less.

i was reading about that kit your talking about. It comes with some sort of brackets for the core soupport and a wire harness ext. dont know where it goes or why but its there.

just ny 2 cents.

Hmmm I wonder what the harness extension is for?? I didn't have to extend anything when I did mine as far as electrical goes, everything moved just fine. And the core support I could see being a tad bit heavier, but knock on wood I haven't had any issues with mine.

And no problem with the help, just trying to lend some first hand advice!
