Re:Help
Diesel Dynamics truck has gone into the 11's with DTT, and ATS has gone 12.5, but they are getting faster. BD has gone to the 11's too.
For manuels, there is Southbend, and some like the Mitchell becuae you can slip it. But after time, it will wear.
When you make a truck have that much power, it is not pratical for it to last as long as one with smaller injectors, and a "timing only" box. Engine "wear-n-tear" does occar after time.

Re:Help
Auto and DTT internals. All of it ha benn prventuve maintence, nothing has broke to date. Other then the cooler lines snapping off at the cooler and dumping out fluid on the highway, thanks to Dodge's wonderful design.

Re:Help
Even at the 400+ hp levels these motors will last a long time. I think you'll find that the truck will start falling apart around the motor & tranny before they give way.

John

Re:Help
Wick, I wouldn't to much. As long as you break the engine in properly (read hook up a big trailer and rag the crap out of it), it should last you at least 200,000 miles without anything more than normal maintenance (and the neccessary upgrades to hold the power).
