heater core
Hello I just bought a 96 extra cab 4x4 long bed ans noticed that the windows fog up when I turn the heat on. Which means the heater core is bad. Has anyone ever changed one themselves or had to have a dealer do it at what cost. I thought about adding some stop leak for now but Im not sure if it will work. So far no water leaking in the cab. What do you guys think.

Repairing this is NOT cheap. The dash has to come out.....I've heard most dealers take about 6 hours.....about $700.....

Apparantly there is a post on the TDR that outlines the procedure with pics.
