It's possible that TST gave you a bad box. It's rare, but i've heard it happens.

Did you use dielectric grease on your connections?

Box works fine until headlights, or air, or blower, stereo, wipers start going, then it starts the bucking. You can see the fueling light flicker. If I am on the highway and turn on the headlights, it is almost like I am stepping on the brake. If there is no large electric load, box works fine. The box was sent back to TST to be checked.

This is very very strange. The TST box barely draws any current at all, so it really shouldn't be influenced at all by other items being turned on.

Does anyone know if its possible to test relays? I'm wondering if you don't have a bad relay in the power centre under the hood.

Only way I know to test relays is to open the top and test the resistance between the contact points.

Can I hook the Box directly to the battery, for troubleshooting?

Yep, thats what I would do. I really seems as though the location where you taped into power for the TST, is getting drug down by the accessories. Before going right to the battery, why dont you hook up a mutil-meter to the power wire that goes to the TST and monitor it while playing with the accessories. I bet you'll find the voltage drop..... If so, then hook up straight to the battery (with fuse please) and see what u got.

Thumbs up

Well after 5 months of troubles it is finally fixed. Dirving home from a camping trip the alternator packed it in. Took the alternator to the shop, and the rectifier had all 4 diode burned out. Had a new rectifier installed and now the box works great, no bucking at all. Kinda pisses me off that the dealer said the alternator was okay when I took it in for testing. I guess I have had alternator problems from the beginning.
