i mean hell the gasket is fine but i'd like to put studs on to be a little safer but not break my bank with new gasket and getting the head decked.. buddy just did and between that and the rocker stands plus valve seals it cost him 500 bucks

It is not cheap to upgrade these trucks. It costs a lot more though if you try to bomb them without the upgrades. Kind of a catch 22 deal. Should not lose the seal if you do one at a time, but be very careful to keep everything clean. Not a lot of room to work on the back with the head still on.

I just did mine a few months ago , I did one at a time bottom tapped each one and had a straw taped to the end of a vaccum so I could suck out all the crud at the bottom of the hole . You can use a regular length bottom tap then find a 12 point socket with 1/4" extention that fits it, lower the tap down into the hole ,tap , then pull socket with extention out and use a pencil magnet to get the tap out .

I did mine one at a time and so far so good. After i installed them, i did several retorques after a few heat cycles, brought them up to 130ish foot pounds. And i never let it see full boost until it is completely warmed up.
