ok I am going to get head studs but should I change my head gasket to a marine one while im at it or keep the stock head gasket. How much does it cost to get fire rings. Also what is the part number for the marine head gasket?

 

youll get alot of opinions on this...im pulling my head saturday, using the 12mm studs i have, and going with a .020 marine gasket...no orings or fire rings...o rings are typically $300, firerings more. guys have o ringed their head, and blown gaskets...guys have lost firerings too...too many variables to really say what is better than the other -jake
