alright, im a few bucks short of twins, but im getting there.

can i put studs in and hold 55-60 psi? or will i need a different gasket or even o-rings? id like to not do o-rings now so if i can get away with it, thats what ill do. what else will i need if i just buy bd twins? more fuel? help me out here guys

The studs should hold 55. Might want to look into some orings if you plan on pushing 60 very often.
P.S. You need some Mach 6's so just send those Jammers to a good home down here.

they say the 6's will be to big. (with a smarty and a pm3 and propane/water meth) so i may upgrade to the 4's. and if i do ill let you know

thats the problem, theres not. i have to go about an hour north to get a shop. and im not really even sure if its any good. Anybody know a shop around Northern Arkansas?

Save yourself the trouble and get orings and studs. Will save you time and money in the end.

I'm running BD twins, Mach 6's, TST pm3, and a Smarty on a HO truck. No problems so far. Got a HRVP coming, that may make a big difference. I'm only running studs right now but I agree that you should oring if you can. I'm planning on that next, just going in stages. I'm just being careful to try and keep boost moderated to 55 psi or less. So far, so good.

Tiger, why so low on the dyno; twins, tst, smarty, and 155's = 460or so?

Dunno. Could be a couple things. Thought I'd be a little closer to 500. From what I understand the Smarty can hurt you on the dyno. I was letting the Smarty do the timing. I was going to swap my Edge Comp back in but there were 20+ trucks waiting that day so I didn't really have time. Supposedly the Smarty can hurt high HP trucks as much as 50 hp. I'm thinking it may have hurt me 25-30. Now don't take that as Smarty bashing; It isn't. It pays dividends in seat of the pants and drivability.....and believe it or not probably helps me greatly in the 1/4 mile as modest as those #'s are. My truck was a little pigish before the Smarty....well until you could get into 5th and 6th gear. The other thing that could be the culprit is the HO pump in general but it is also getting a little tired. I've got a new one ordered.....HRVP....should help the fuel flow a good bit. I'll dyno as soon after as possible. I'm sure you'll hear me crow if I break the 500 hp barrier.....'course I should be there already with the Mach 6's I've got in there now....we'll see what the the dyno says though.

i havent found a place to o ring it yet. if i can get it done locally for a reasonable amound of $$$ i'll get the block done too. so i just need a shop to do the machine work
