Whats the budget ?
Oring , Studs , port & polish , 3 angle valve & seats , and cut off intake casting and make a manifold , 60lbs springs ,
You just have to know where your going and how much to spend .

X 2 - especially the part where we machine off the intake and mount our own 304SS version in it's place.

Besides the obvious HP & torque benefits, IMO the intake mod and a Helix cam is the best way to get much better part-throttle/low boost efficiency & power (via better breathing) from a CTD.

The intake manifold section of the cylinder head casting hinders ready access to the intake ports & bowls, but by removing that part to leave a "bare" head, it can be properly ported. That also provides an opportunity to fabricate a separate intake manifold that flows much better - especially at low valve lifts and near-atmospheric intake charge pressures.

XLR8- sounds like you guys have a tubular intake manifold design. Hopefully you have details on how this improves the truck overall?

I understand all of that, I'm wondering who is "we" and how do I contact "we"? The only option I have heard of up till now is ZZ fab's maninfold!

I do not do all this work , no more shop , then you ask , all this head work , I am not a fan of the bolt on plenum's -ATS- [ not enough gain for the costs ] ,
The cutting off of the cast intake part of the head & make a intake would be a big cost of making the best head , this is not all that comin , at your average machine shop , I would look for someone nearby that is already doing it , some with most of this , its always best to find a shop that is familiar with the work you want done , it would help if you put your location in the user control panel .
The places that do some of this , like the port & polish , usually have at least 2 levels of that job , so for pricing you want to talk to those who do it , there is not enough of it to do price shopping of the cast intake work , the rest is more comin , then how much of the R&R work are you going to do ?
SWAG - scientific wild *** guess , you could spend a couple thousand plus .
