it will push 48-50 and yes egts are around 1300 +/- a few. I dont have a guage on the primary but i tuned my HE to around 26-27psi by itself, so its safe to guess that the 3B is around 23-24psi.

I reset my spring wastegate with a double spring this weekend. Ended up setting the he at 34 to 36 lbs. of boost. This is with the 200 horse injectors and adr 3000 tune on number 5 setting. It had a trail of smoke but you could see threw it. I hooked the 3b back up and it would settle right at 62 lbs. of boost on the same setting. Outside air temps were in the low 40's and a very light haze of smoke you could hardly see. I wish I would have looked at the exhaust temps but when I saw the boost level I got out of it. Stock gasket on a 284,000 mile motor probably won't live long at that boost. It does run hard at those levels though!

did you see any difference in spool like that gary? or just topend pull? you're pushing quite a bit more fuel than i am with that SO pump and the ADR.

I'm not sure, these spool so quickly it's hard to tell. I do know when I had the he set at 18 they were a little lazy. The he by itself runs pretty decent, I was inpressed with the power it had at 34 lbs of boost. I sure could get used to 60 lbs of boost but I don't want to work on the truck right now.
If you get a chance put a inner spring on yours, it's just one out of the spring bins at the local hardware store. The small one I got was a bout 2 times to long, I cut off what I needed. I had a extra outer spring I got, when I put it by the one off of my truck it was about a half inch longer. I'm guessing after a year of being compressed quite a bit it had given in some.
With the two springs going from 30 to 34 was a hair over a full turn of the nut. I'm probably done adjusting on mine, I just ordered the adapter for the he351vgt to stock manifold today, I just have to decide what turbo to get a hold of for the bottom turbo.

I suggest a S475 or a K-31. They spool-up faster than the BTH-3b. The 3b seems to have more top end power and are cheap. The S475 is slightly more money. All three turbos are rated for 95-100lbs/min.

I would like to do a s400, I haven't built a twin set with one of them. The b1-b2 I bought and put on. I've been thinking maybe a gt42 or 45, it just depends on what I can find reasonable.
The ht60 is just a newer 3b isn't it? I know they rotate the same.

Those tiny pop offs are not doing any good. Think about the volume of air the turbos are moving and then look at the size of the pop offs you have there. They might as well not be there. A pop off on a turbo should have about 1" hole in it to work properly. They are usually a flap with a spring. Sort of like a check valve with a stronger spring. The purpose is to vent excess pressure but if you can't vent enough volume the pressure keeps climbing past the pop off point.

did you not watch my youtube video? those pop-offs stop boost from climbing like a brick wall. you cant hear them im the video, so it just looks like my boost is topping out but they're for sure doing their job. i can hit 45psi with the box off. with it on, without the pop-offs, i know i could hit 55+
