having a hard time deciding....lining rockers
so my rockers are getting chipped and covered in road tar and ive always been a big fan of spraying the panels anyhow. i am however having an extremley hard time deciding how high to spray. on one hand id like to spray up to that first little bend about 6" up from the very bottom. that would take care of most of my chipping issues, but not all, and would not hide a big scratch i have on the passenger side.
the other would be the classic spraying up to the lower body line. this would provide the most coverage and most protection, but it would almost give my truck the 2 toned look which i cant say im a huge fan of. mainly an issue because its such a contrast between the light and the dark. and paying to have the color matched stuff is out cuz im doing this myself.
opinions?

Mine is up tp the bodyside molding on my truck is well, of course mine is green and it is not a huge difference like yours, but the extra protection is worth it, esp on these old Dodges, make sure you do the inside bottom edge of the door where the seem is, thats where they rust like crazy. The two tone look grows on you, I know I love mine, and the lower spray looks out of place with the molding just a few inches higher up...

I have the same silver paint as yours; and I'd leave them silver. I haven't done anything to mine and I don't plan on it. JMHO...........

Strictly Gravy, thats a nice truck! I would like mine done like that. Where did you have it done? What material? Looks kind of shiny a little. And, welcome to the Forums!

There was a post a while back about someone getting into an accident and getting the whole truck repainted - when they took the bedliner off the rockers, it was all rusted behind it.
Thats why I didn't do mine.
