Have I screwed up my "towing" truck?
I just removed my 100hp injectors to install 180-200hp injectors.....And now I am looking at a turbo upgrade. I have done alot of research on here but dont know if I have screwed up my towing ability. I am going to purchase a sledpuller66/14. Can I tow with my current setup? Im actaully thinking of taking my truck back to 100hp sticks
Also.....I just towed my wifes grand cherokee and it actully pulled really well with the comp off with the injectors and stocker turbo.

You are going to get toasty!! I'd do just as you did for the time being.....and when ever you tow turn the COMP off! You'll still probably get warm, but you should hopefully be able to control it.
And I'd go with something a tad bit smaller on your new turbo....a 66 is going to pretty laggy unless you don't mind boost lag. A Phatshaft 64 would be a good choice. JMHO

I tow with my Sledpuller 66 every weekend but not in the mountains. I leave the TST on #3 and it is stacked with an EZ. And it runs just fine unless you get stuck below 1600 rpm or so in OD and have to downshift to get the rpms back up. It gets a little smokey at low rpms in OD.
