It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

When it comes time for a new tranni you could consider becoming a real driver and converting to a six speed ;D

I was actully concidering what is involved in a standard conversion. It seems like I would have less troubles and more fun!

Personally, if you want to race, an auto in a truck is the way to go. With a stick you lose boost on every shift and it takes up a lot of time to shift.

Re:Have I lost the need to stand on it?
Did a nice smoke show today Im really happy got my Brand New Yokohamas spinning and pouring some nice smoke! I do have to take it easy on this tranny its starting to get weaker and weaker! Its sort of just sliding into gear now not really shifting anymore. Anyone got any easy fixes for the time being.

Re:Have I lost the need to stand on it?
BigBlue, you are correct, but I still prefer my standard over a slushbox. Specially downhill with a load.<br>BTW guys, today for the first time I had my truck really loaded. There was very little space left between the rubber 'bumpers' on the frame and the rear axle. The CTD hardly noticed it! Had to climb quite a few steep hills and the only time I knew I had a load was in fith gear, uphill and trying to accerate from 40 mph. The ride was considerably improved. Otherwise I could pass traffic on the hills as tho I was on the flat. Love this truck!!!!!!!
