That should work. Looks like that clutch was hammered on and let loose. What type is it?

 

Its a classic sign of a 3000 RPM drop in 2nd gear trying to do a burn out about 3 times in a row!

 

I just had my tranny rebuilt and a week later it started havent done but a couple burn outs cant afford to waste tires. It was a sothbend CON OFE

 

seems very unusual, Maybe unusual punishment or some other reason, could have hit the disc when installing the tranny?
