I use an off the shelf s-400 from a 60 series as a single, just needed to make an adapter for the compressor outlet to to go to the intercooler and an adapter plate to mount it on the manifold

I am not sure, I bought it from a guy in Kentucky as a S-400 and I asked around and was told they come off a 60 series, I'll look and see if I got any pics of it sitting next to something else

yes 12valve
the s400 is normally a bottom charger in a twin set . i have seen a few guys running them as a single most are doing it on 12v trucks . there are a few heavy fueled 24s running them as a single but from what i have heard they are a little bit laggy aka dont light till like 2600 but when it does hold on cause it will break the truck loose . at least this is what i have heard from a guy that was running one on a 24v truck .
