Talking Happy transmission

Need to report my happiness. I rebuilt my auto with DTT parts in June. Transmission pressure sensor and solenoid went spastic in July, replaced em both. TC again started to do the cycle on off. I had already done the clean up the ground trick (worked for a while), than the alum foil trick (kinda embarassing really). Brand new TC and it can't make its mind up lock or unlock, lock or unlock. Aargh. Just put in the DTT noise filter.... aahh happiness. I hope it is not a temporary fix. I am keenly following the twins threads. Stock turbo and an S400 looks like a great project for not too much money. Than I could choose whatever injectors I wanted....

rebuild

This was my first go at an automatic and it went fairly well. I needed to make a few tools to get the job done. The actual assembly/dissassembly is fairly straightforward, it took me a fair bit of time as I was step by stepping with a repair manual. I am glad I did it myself rather than buying a built transmission.
