Had to lose my Jacobs Brake

I recently had to lose the Jacobs Brake for a Pacbrake I loved that Jacob Brake, had it for years and never had an ounce of trouble with it and I left it on all the time. Why did I make the change? I made some changes to my truck and had to change the small diameter down pipe, where the butterfly for the Jacobs was located, to a full 5" all the way back. I added a couple of pics of my engine with the new MR. Bob hoses and other goodies to my gallery take a peek and tell me what you think
I like the way the Pacbrake works but it is wired direct to the battery and I'm shutting it on and off all the time by a toggle switch one the dash, I'm thinking it should have been a switch on the shifter. When I stop, if I don't shut the brake off it makes that RUMP RUMP sound. Since it's wired direct it would keep running with the truck turned off, not sure I like this too much.

Yeah, you made some changes alright!!! Who's twins kit is that?....Piers? I think you might need quite a bit more fuel if you are only making 378 hp!!! What plate are you using? Please tell me it is not the plate from the Power Pack!?!? If so, it is time for a #100!!! You don't mention injectors in your sig.....are you just using the stock 215's? You need some 370's for those twins!! Anyway.......COOOOL!!!

Why is the Pacbrake solenoid power not wired to a switched ignition source? That is what needs to be done.

I have the Pacbrake shifter switch and I am very pleased with it.

oooops I guess I need to update my sig I dynod at 463hp 370's and #6 plate I know I could be making 100 more hp easy but right now I'm makeing 61 pounds of boost and egts pulling my 12000lb 5er up some hefty hills is usually seeing 1100 degrees I did see 1300 while pulling a hill when I punched itin 5th gear just to see how high they would go I'm pretty pleased with this setup, I was interested in in keeping the egt's down while towing.

Why is the Pacbrake solenoid power not wired to a switched ignition source? That's a good question I like that setup you have there
