Clockwise increases pressure, but becarefull as the housing is plastic and the screw is small.

Certainly a best judgment call, its like tightening the bolts that hold down the porcilian toilet, you will know if you went to far

LOL ive cracked a few of those....

 

from what i hear the snow pumps will only put out like 30psi or so . but if you boost reference the tank ie pressurize the tank it will put out more pressure and keep up with the pressure that your charger is putting out and the pump lives longer to . just something i was told when i was thinking about it with my last truck .
