H2 Wheels (Thanks DTR)
Fist off, I would like to thank whoever the cat was who figured out that H2 wheels fit our trucks so well. I just got a set of take-offs from the local Hummer dealer, $400, brand spanking new. Unreal. My truck is a 98.5 2500 4x4. My LTX-MS's (original) went 85,500 miles. They were awesome, but times are tight and I needed new tires. Thank god for this website, and all the info on H2 wheels. They went right on (after a bit of 4.5" Miwaukee action) and ride like a dream. The center caps got trimmed by a cut-off wheel and fit perfect. The whole setup make the truck look great.
Now I deciding weather to go with 2" lift front, or keep it stock height.
Once again, thank you to this webboard for all the great info.

Yep... That's the route I went. You can't beat it. The cheapest I've seen those tires is for around 200 ea. I got all 4 tires and rims for $450!!
You used a cut-off wheel for center caps?? Please explain.
Oh.. get the D25's. You'll be much happier.

As for the center caps.
The Ram caps have a "flared lip" on the steel part of the cap. Draw a line around the circumfrence (sp?) of the steel part, just as this flared lip transitions to flat. You want to cut ALL the flared lip off. Take a pen, use the plastic chrome lip as a guide, draw the line PERFECTLY.
Take a carbide cut-off wheel and cut the lip off.
Then next, take a ruler, measure the depth of the center of the H2 wheel (the part that says "GM"), to the outer center flange of the wheel, approx 1".
Now take your same ruler, measure the hubcap from the newly cut steel area back onto the chrome area of the cap. Draw a line again, around the circumfence of the chrome plastic, and cut off that amount of plastic cap. Do not go too deep, or you will cut into the metal center of the cap.
Done. Smack them on. It will fit just right.

What size tire is that? They look so sweet. Where did you find yours? Will they fit the same on the 99? I'm guessing they will need the same mods?

My center caps fit perfectly with no modifications (execpt the center cut-out for the rear). I'm still a little cofused why Lama had to modify his. I've never heard of anyone having to do this before.

Found mine on Craigs list. They will fit on a 99. You have to open up the center from 4.5" to 4.75" if I remember corectly. Some just use a holesaw.. I put mine on a Bridgeport. It doesn't have to be perfect.
