H2 wheels with GM center caps on a Dodge

Anybody have them? Lets see them if you do. I want to get a set and get some Dodge stickers to cover the bowtie or GMC logo. I think with the black lug covers and the grey or chrome center cap it will look good.

If you're going to do the work to put on the H2 wheels why not just put on the Dodge center caps. They have to be modified to fit but match pefectly. At least on the 3rd Gens. Pics in my gallery.

I have already done the work to put the H2 wheels on. The difference is I can get the Chevy centers for like $20 for all four but I cant seem to find 3rd Gen centers for less than $80-$100. Plus I dont know if I like how shallow the 3rd Gen centers are after being cut down. I kind of like to look in my side mirror and see the lugs going round and round.

The Hummer centers are just flat they hide the lugs. I saw a pic somewhere of aomeone that had put them on a Dodge, had to cut a hole for the rear hub, IMO is didn't look good at all.

It very well may have been my gallery because I did it. I dont really like the way it looks either but is better than being able to see the lug nuts and studs.

Those were the pics

I'm in the minority, I like being able to see the lugs and studs, I never run my center caps. I just have to stay on top of keeping them painted.

Half the reason I dont like the smooth H2 centers is because they say "HUMMER". That to me is kind of off if you know what I mean. It would be like putting a powerstroke emblem on your Cummins powered Dodge. As soon as I can toss the H2 centers they are gone, I just want to see some Chevy centers on there and get an idea of how they would look with Dodge emblems in the center instead of a bowtie. This is how it looked before the caps being put on.

I got my 3rg gen caps off e-bay for $50 for all. They can be had for cheap.

I would only use 3rd gen caps. I have the hummer centers, IMO look ghay. I can't say I think GM caps would be better than 3rg gens......but just my oppinion.

I really like the truck without badges. Was alot of work and looks better one color now. I may have to just keep watching e-bay until I find them.

You might ask a GM dealer who puts the rims on their new truck and talk to that place...

Talk to them about getting Dodge 3rd Gen caps? Not tracking what I should ask for.
