I can remember when "CUMINSTROKIN" broke 700 hp with his ETH over 3 years ago. He held the Cummins hp record for a short time and used nox and propane to get there. It wasn't easy to get the ETH to 400. Lots of ETH owners back then were ****** they'd paid extra for an engine which didn't have as much potential as the ETC. That was an awful long time ago in the diesel performance world and things have come a long way since then. There are so many combinations avialable now which can crack 400 with the ETH, that you couldn't list them all.
My ETH broke 400, way back when, with DD3s, the old original Edge 3 level box, and a hybrid HX35. This was before the EZ was introduced, and the only timing box was the original Van Aakin.

Thanks Bart, I keep reading and hearing how the ETH motors won't make much horsepower, compared to the ETC. I just want to see how many ETH guys are over 400hp and what it took to get there. Let 'er rip.

I have RV275 injectors , Van Aaken V5 stacked with a Blue Chip ABP box.
What HP am I putting out ? Can't turn the box up all the way , clutch is
slipping at WOT in 5th and 6th gear.

I'm not at 400 yet, but with just the TST I put down 332. A set of injectors and I'll be well over 400. The ETH can handle up to a mach 4.5. What is that like a 160 170 hp injector? With all the stuff out now a days braking 500 RWHP with an ETH isn't a problem.

I dynoed a month or so ago and hit 382 hp. I've upgraded turbos since then and now I'm hoping to be over 400. I'll find out in October hopefully at the Texas Rally.

I dynoed a BS 390hp with just DD2s and an EZ Gotta love ridiculous irrelvant SAE corrections on the DJ248C.
Seriously though, I now have Mach 4s. When I get a TST box, I'm confident I'll have the FUEL for well over 400hp. Probably closer to 500.
The lack of power after that is due to inadequacies in the clutch/turbo departments.
Mach4s with just a boost fooler and nothing else should put you REALLY close to about 375hp on an ETH engine.

400 h.p. is my goal, which I know I can achieve pretty easily, but I have a couple of limiting factors in that I live at a high elevation and I dont want to pierce the pump wire. Ive got alot of experimenting to do to figure out whats going to work for sure, but I am probably looking at mach 4's or higher if I go with a hot-rod Vp. + Mad ecm + Edge. Keeping it cool will be a big concern for me because of some of the loads I pull.
I hope to get this figured out soon.

I have a friend who is running an ETH, HX-50, drag comp, and Mach 6's, he makes 505 or so.
