Guess the 181's Did help....

I recently put some 181 DV's in my truck, and thought that they didnt help any, but maybe my butt is just numb? Went to the 1/4 Friday night. My best 1/4 was previously a 16.2@81. Soon as I got there, I got beside a buddy, built some boost, and took off when the tree came down. Wasnt really planning on running any better than before, but I came back around and picked up my time slip. Glanced at it real fast before I went to park, and talk to some people I know, and I had ran a 16.015. My best ever. I was a little excited about that, but then I really wanted to break 15's. So I got back in line, and ran again. I ran a 15.984. Just barely a 15sec 1/4, but that is what i wanted. And later in the night I got lined up with a honda ricer. I was wanting to beat him pretty bad, and I usually leave with 8-10psi, and this time I made sure I was making 10-11psi. We took off, and I went, but the ricer didnt. He ended up breaking something, and in the course of wanting to beat him pretty bad, I cut a 15.78 second quarter, and this is with a full tank of fuel . So needless to say I am happy about that. Like I said, I couldnt tell any difference really just driving it after the DV's, but the proof is in the pudding. Went from a 16.2 to a 15.7. Next I plan to put the 215 injectors I have in. Should put me on the low side of the 15's. Anyways. Just was a little excited about it, and figured id share.

Lookout clock!

Glad you are happy with your mods Eric, what were u running for air, blocked gate? And yes those 215s WILL wake your truck up..

For air; I am running a non gated 16cm housing, and making about 34-35psi. I was happy with my runs. Hopefully I can cut low 15's with the 215's in. Just waiting till I find a place to get them pop tested first.
