I have not seen or used the one from Diesel Manor so I can't make any definitive comments. I can say it sounds like you have a problem with the isolator installation though. Just MHO.

yeah i have no clue what the problem is i have filled the isolater and the line. bled the fuel side and still reads low maybe my LP is on its way out.
tomorrow i am going to hook up a guage and see what my pressure really is.

i have that kit from diesel manor, along with my brother, and a friend...we all 3 did ours the same, fill the isolater with antifreeze, didnt worry about getting anything in the lines, all 3 of them have been acurate. we have checked each of them a few differnt times with a mechanical test gauge, and they all have been right on...so i think ur setup is fine, ur lp is prob just bad....we found 2 of the 3 trucks had bad pumps after we put on our gauges. i put the bd lift pump on mine and it has worked great...21 at idle, 15 at wot...

thats exactly what i did. filled the isolator and hook it up to the guage.
also i was kinda curious to why when i turn my key on the fuel pressure reads then drops off. almost like its not holding pressure.

i am looking for a new LP setup not sure which way i want to go yet though. either walbro GFS kit, airdog, Bd kit or a Fass 95.
all comments welcome.
thanks

I too had low fuel pressure when I installed my gauges. I double checked the pressure with a mechanical gauge at the vp44. I replaced the frame mounted Carter LP and still had low FP. I got my money back on the Carter and had a FASS 150 installed. I now run 15 psi @ idle, 14 psi @ 65mph, and 12 psi @ WOT. Well worth the money IMHO. The shop did a fantastic job on the install and the filters are mounted up high enough that off road clearance is not a problem. I would have gone with the FASS 95, but they did not have one in stock, and gave me the 150 at the same price. I was also very suprised to discover that this setup is quieter than the Carter setup. It also comes with a 6 year warranty. I highly recomend it.
