Re:Guages, Finally...
I might be missing something here, but --

0-15 on the fuel pressure gauge is kinda low. I'm idling at 16-17 with a stock set-up except for hi-flow banjo bolts. 0-25 might be better, especially if you're going to do any upgrading. If you peg the gauge constantly at idle, that's not good.

On the other hand, 0-60 is kinda high for a boost gauge, unless you're planning on putting fueling/timing boxes on it, defeating the wastegate, and upgrading the turbo. The stock HX35 is not going to sustain anything over 35 psi for too long. 0-35 might be better, if you're not planning on major bombing.

My humble opinion.

GP

Re:Guages, Finally...
I currently have an Edge Comp, and a 3.5" Straight Pipe. Next week I'm looking at propane, and plan on Injectors there-after. Maybe I'll do Injectors first.

I though ppl were running 32-35psi of boost normally, under average bombing, and as for fuel, it was 0-15 or 0-100 psi and that's the only choices autometer has.

Re:Guages, Finally...
Well, if you're going to use drugs, boxes, and big injectors, go with the 60psi boost gauge. But think about that HX35 turbo. Ya, you can run 35 psi or more, but you're on the edge.

As for the fuel gauge, you may have to go outside of Autometer -- Westach or some other brand. I had to do that.

GP

I was hoping for all matching guages.

Are there any others out there that look like the Autometer Ultralites?

I know there is a cheaper line of Autometers that are Black/Black which might match better, but I can't seem to find the same guages in that line, not to mention I want quality guages.

??? ??? ???

Re:Guages, Finally...
I think you're referring to the Autolite "Phantom" line (black on black). They have the same movements as the Ultralites, and are of the same quality. The difference is the brushed aluminum bezels, faces, and bodies. The Phantoms match well with the Westach fuel gauge -- not an exact match, but it looks alright.

Beyond that -- it's a tough problem.

GP

Re:Guages, Finally...
The Phantom is a white face, not black.

I do like the black bezel though!

I do not see any 2 1/16th" Guages on Westach's site. Will their 2" guage work in Autometers tripple A-Pillar?
