I got my 4K

off of mike at www.hotroddiesels.com, 120 bucks... no valve springs

I just read your link.. good info there! Could you tell me more about the key way you were referrin to. Is this on the linkages? (I didnt take my linkage off when I did this) I didnt notice anything like that on the shutoff.

If you go in through the side of the pump, the shut off linkage might be in the way, to screw out the 7/8" plug. On some trucks they are, on some they arent! its just for better acces!

this is the mod about the 3/8" washers, drilled to 1/2" with just less then 1" outside diameter, above the Governor springs!

I go through the top of the pump, begginers should go through the 7/8" plug on the side of the pump.
