grinding fuel plate

i've heard of people grinding the fuel plate flat with no curves or anything. what kind of power could one expect from that?

its called a 0 plate..

I got mine from a good friend on here, I will tell you this, i installed mine with some borrowed 370s for a trial, GOOD GOD!! it is insane! low end is ridiculous, smoke is awesome and that stock 35 turbo is literally screaming for mercy! HOWEVER with every good comes a bad, EGTS post turbo would reach 1200 degrees, and i didnt have enough air to cool this mixture, so towing is outta the question, if the plate would be in the stock position, it might work, mine wasnt it was 90 percent forward. Even with stock injectors, It helped me dyno 376/902 at the rears with stock injectors, and stock timing, it make a dramatic difference, but the stock clutch, didnt like it either. Id say until u can get a bigger blower, stick with ur 10, its the reason i put my banks plate and stock injectors back in, the drivetrain didnt like it, right now im at about 315-330/800 rwtq im guessing, i wish ida dynoed with the 370s, i mighta hit 400, but the clutch smelled for three hours, the turbo screamed for mercy, and egts were wayy too hott, and its my only ride, so i gotta take care of it till i have the money to drop into it..

Another way to go, get a 100 plate. which is a 10 plate with no defueling, PM northslope he does really good work, and that plate packs a heck of a punch PM walexa, he has one of Northslopes plates, This plate is not as harsh as the zero is.. but still enough for tranny concerns...

One more thing... welcome to DTR!!

Thanks for the welcome. I just bought a set of pdr 370's so I'm going to need a bigger turbo pretty soon. When I do that, I'll probably go to a zero plate. I'm not worried about my clutch, it holds pretty good. I just bout this truck and somebody had injectors, pane, and a bigger turbo on it but removed it before selling it. Kinda wished I could've gotten ahold of it then. But once again, thanks.

On another note

anything over 400 rwhp, ur playin with fire with the input shaft for the gears, PRIMARILY why i dont wanna run over 400 rwhp yet.. seems to me you have the right idea, updated transmission, injectors, and a larger turbo in the works, and u have a Heavy duty clutch... well, on another note, what parta tx u from fellow texan? PM me if ud like.. also, do u have gauges? and how far forward is your fuel plate? just questions, and concerns, make sure that you dont do any of that good stuff without gauges, i dont wanna see or hear u lost ur investment...

Thanks!

Be careful, this stuff is addictive, I started with just a BHAF for better breathing, now look at what I have gotten myself into.
