GREAT Garrett install pictorial in "Diesel Builder" magazine
I'd never even heard of this magazine when I saw it on the newsstand. (aug 07 issue)
The piece on the Garrett install on a Cummins 5.9 was short on text and there was NO before/after contrast done whatsoever. Pretty say if you ask me.
However, they DO have a step-by-step picture guide on how to install one that's so good, Garrett should think to put it in their directions.
Maybe Garrett wrote the story and provided pics?
Anyone, if you are considering a Garrett (like I am) this is a GREAT piece showing how the install goes.
The water line is much ado about nothing-- very easy to do.

The garrett turbos are nice but are sadly small for our performance applucations. The stage 3 works great for around 400-450, also someone wants a nice towing turbo for they 350-400 crowd this would be a great turbo. Above these levels the turbos pretty much only produce heat!

I personally think their hotside is too small in an effort to keep spoolup good.
That same compressor in a 4088 instead of a 3788 would go a bunch farther, I suspect.
The 4088 has a T4 flange too, which would help if you had a t4 manifold outlet like that ATS version.
