govener arm need adjustment?

govener arm need adjustment?

well i ground to a 100 plate and im not gettin the smoke i would expect and was wondering since the arm is hitting about half way up that is the reason for it. i planned on adjusting it this weekend but was just wanting to make sure that is the reason why its doing this

You should see a decent amount of smoke with those mods.

The govenor arm should strike the lower edge of the plate.

If I'm not mistaken you should have the 180 pump with 131 dvs, that will have some influence as far as smoke goes....

well i got it done right, i noticed that i left the afc line unplugged from hurry to finish up last time a put it back in today and also noticed that the afc was not slid all the way foward and slid that and its smoking pretty good and a lot more power now i just have to block the wastegate do timing and injectors and i will be set for another day or two

haha cool! that happens sometimes! when you plug your wastegate.... be careful, ive blown a few stock turbos, and know of some guys who blew theyres with a plugged wastegate!

They say you can hit 35 psi safely though

your gov arm is fine where it is! dont bother!
