Got a power question

I'm finding some things out for my friend. He has an 02 extcab long bed with a stock automatic. He wants to have around 400hp but be streetable also. He hauls wood and water and pulls a sometimes. He's got gauges and FASS 150. He also knows he'll need to upgrade the tranny soon too. What turbo would be a good streetable one but not real big. An HX40? What injecotrs would be a good match too.He asked me if when he gets a box if it'll hurt the VP44 to tap the pump wire and I've never really looked that one up. Does it hurt it quick? Thank's

A HX40 would be a good turbo for what he wants to do.

I wouldnt go any bigger than a set of 100hp sticks.

If you tap the pump wire correctly it will not hurt the VP44.

I would suggest the Edge Comp or the TST Pm3. With these mods he will be at or over his 400hp goal and still be very streetable with no major heat issues.

Thank's, Is there a really a way to wrongly tap the pump wire if you follow directions and have knowhow. I was thinking a drag comp box too. I know thats good cause my neighbor had one years ago.
