Got my Holley blue in

Well I got my Holley Blue with Vulcan Big Line installed last night now I have 2 short questions. I am seeing 13psi and I can't get it to move below 10psi at wot is this acceptable numbers? I didn't mess with the spring yet as it was midnight and I was covered in DF. Would that get me up around 16psi? Question 2 I used the wire that came with the big line kit and just cut the end and soldered it to the pump and plugged in to the stock location. Is there a better way of wiring it or is this fine the way I did it?
Thanks for any help

your fuel pressure is acceptable. however you can stretch the spring out if you want to

I installed mine just like you about a year and a half ago. I think the pressure is fine, but stretching the spring will raise it. I get about 16 @ idle and I've never seen less than 11 or 12 @ WOT.

Thanks I think I might stretcher a little can't hurt to have a little more juice. Now I can start bugging the wife about getting some real upgrades since I know I have good fuel to support it.

You can pick the holley blue up at advanced for around $120.

Take some emory cloth or some really fine sand paper and sand the plunger down that's behind the spring. That helps with pressure sometimes as well.
