Got a little bit of money..where to start

I have a 99 2500 all stock, hx35 turbo, 4.10 gears and 265 tires. I ordered a set of gauges from genos and I had a bought a superchip. After reading the forums I decided I am going to return my superchip. I found a good deal on an edge comp and rv275s. Is this a good start or should I be taking a different approach. 130k on my vp44 and I changed out my lp about 5 k miles ago. My main goal is to get some more getup and go Also I would really love to be able to put out nice volumes of smoke when I get on it. What do you guys think? Thanks. Also note that I have a possibly leaking oil seal on the comp side of my hx35. I am still testing to see if thats the case or not.

A Comp and some 275s will be a great start. And about all your stock turbo will cool

My 47res both have the od lock-out, 48s didn't come out till 03
That combo of the comp and the 275s is pretty much the limit for your tranny. It will hate you and if you mistreat it you will kill it but if your nice it should last awhile, that combo will put you in the mid 350rwhp range and that is approaching double the hp that the truck was engineered to have so.....plan ahead

Alright good to know thanks for the input. Ratsun what you said was considering that when I put the edge comp on it I will tap it? Or not tapping. Also if I am running in mode 5 will it kill my trans? Or only if I push it too hard?

With over 130k on the tranny I'd say get if beefed up 1st. A good tc and valve body will get 50 more hp to the ground. Then start with 4'' exhaust and maybe a new bigger turbo and then the Comp and then injectors, smoke is BAD!!!
