Question Got Gauges, need to know what to look for???

Just installed the goodies in my sig this past week. Now I have a few questions...

I have the J/A set with the default settings but not sure what to look for. What are the "danger levels" for EGT, BOOST, TRANNY, etc.??? Also, my pyro is in the manifold pre-trurbo and tranny sensor is in the hot line.

Second, I haven't really played around much with the new power yet. Just to and from work the past two days, mainly to make sure I installed everything right. Anyway, I checked the "Records" screen on the Attitude monitor and these were the numbers:
HIGHEST ENG. TEMP - 202
LOWEST FUEL PRESSURE - 14 (17 @ idle)
MOD. TEMP. - 134
RPM - 2532
SPEED - 57
HIGHEST TRANS. TEMP. - 196

This was done on the way home from work, stop and go driving in town, with a few straight stretches along the way. I had the J/A on level 1.

Finally, I know I have only the stock turbo, and a bigger on would keep my temps down, but... on the way home there is a straight 5% grade uphill climb for about 200 yards. With my TC locked in 4th at 47mph up the hill I went without shifting out of O/D. Exhaust got real deep and boost went up to about 16 or so, but EGT's shot to over 1100. I guess I just didn't expect it to get so hot so quick when I wasn't even running it that hard???

Sorry this is long winded but I'm still learning.

Lots of fun, huh! Max. exhaust temp. should be set around 1250, boost 35 psi, trans. temp. maybe 220?. With the stock HY35 turbo, injectors, and a module, your exhaust temps will probably get smoking hot if you turn up the power, and the boost will get the turbo spinning way too fast. You are definately going to start saving for a bigger turbo. A bigger turbo will decrease drive pressure (better for headgasket), lower exhaust temperatures (better for everything), and give you more power!
