Just got my new SBC DD in the mail and boy does it look a lot better than the old one did. The clutch has 12 buttons on both clutch plates and apposed to 10 on the old one. the plate load is 3850 just like the old one. The flywheel looks to really hook because of the new liner and the floater plate is a lot tighter fitting than the first DD clutch I had. all in all I think this clutch is going to be a way better clutch. I have the vershion that is for pulling and for street use. I will know more after I hook this weekend and will report back. but from what I can tell just by looking at the clutches, this new vershion it a lot stronger and better built.

I guess it picks up around 525hp since that is where the Con-OFE drops off, is there actually a max power rating on the DD or is the sky the limit?

I believe that South Bends web site says that the standard DD are rated for 750Hp.

Now we gotta figure out how to whip up on 'ol Garrett , new clutch first hook and he win's.....yeah I bet he's got big head syndrome!!
