overdrive always seems to make biggger #s up to 500 or so hp, then many people start doing 1to1 runs.

On a DYnojet, I got 40-50 hp more in OD than in Third...even though it would not register full boost in OD.
Can't be sure, exactly, cause I went to a slightly bigger B-1 between the two runs.

If horse power is known, torque is easy to calculate. tq=(hp x 5252)/rpm. rpm can determined by the mph speed. Maximum torque will usually be close to the begining rpm of the top of the maximum horse power curve. No need for the rpm sensor. A couple of minutes with a calculator will give a torque curve.

Ok cookies for all!

My egts where pretty bad when I dynoed it. It would peg the guage. Since then I bumped the timing and pushed the plate forward and they peg out around 1400.

So how much lower do you think EGT's are since the timing bumped to 16.5. Im guessing my truck has never been timed, but im planning on setting it at 16.5 soon. Right now, i can easily get to 1450 degrees, and probably 1500, but i always let out of it before then. I really need to get EGT's down. If timing lowered EGT's 150 degrees, or even 100 for me, that would help a lot. I put the 16cm housing on mine, and it helped nothing. Just slower spool up, and EGT's are just as bad. Oh well.

put the 12 housing back on and port it. it may do better. i dunno, but i bet the numbers are WAY different when you slap some pizza cutters on it. it will have you putting stock tires back on it if you drive it like that i bet! but i bet it looks pretty cool with the biggens. i dunno if you have a pic, but i am going to look as soon as i finish this post, so i guess i will find out on my own. if you don't, put some on here. i'd love to see it.

Cumminsdriver, I would recomend timing it. I think my egts dropped 200 degrees.
