Going back??

I am thinking of going back to a 02. My 06 has a auto and I want another 6 speed. What do you all think? I use my truck in my business and want a little less value truck so I dont have to worryabout scuffing it.

Wasn't the nv5600 carried over for a couple years on the third gen trucks? I'm thinking you could get an 03 and still have the same tranny as your old 02.

I have an 02 and of course love it, but if I were buying now, I would find a 03 or 04 with better fuel pump life, quieter, and still have a NV-5600 without paying for a new truck. You keep your bed that way.

Yes my step dad has an early 05 with the nv5600, I don't think they switched to the g56 til 06, maybe 05.5
