goin to the dyno

Im taking my truck up this weekend to a buddy that i meet on this site and hes going to be adding:

1. Sledpuller 66 Turbo
2. Air dog fuel system
3. 280 horse injecters
4. DD clutch with input shaft

and i have already got the edge comp with the wire tap, 4inch exhaust and Airaid intake system.

So with what i got what do you think my numbers are goin to look like im goin to be dynoing the truck on the 18th of Febuary.

And by the way anybody around here from Missouri there is going to be 3-4 of us up there to dyno, so if anyone is interested PM me. Its a dynojet dyno and were suppost to be up there at noon, and its only $85 for three pulls.

well thats good. any plans for future upgrades...i think even with those large injectors and an edge comp...that turbo is gonny be a lag pig but i could be wrong. it should make about 520hp tho once it finally spools, but its gonna have LOTS of smoke

what brand injectors are those...i would say go with F1 injectors...they have some high hp injectors that really make the power and keep smoke down.

also get a drag upgrade to the comp. that will work wonders in spooling your turbo. when you get it done it will be a beast for sure! good luck

yeah im going to do the drag comp in june before all the pulls start, also going to get traction bars, driveshaft loops, front weights, transfer case, might get head studs, might run stacks, might stack with another chip (if i find a good stack), might do alot of things just not for sure yet what i want to do

you "could" stack the edge with a smarty, but if you wanna stack you should look at a fueling only box like the TST then a separate timing box. some other guys can give you a little more info for stacking. i just know that the comp does not stack well due to its added timing.

and headstuds are a good idea at 45psi+ and those power levels you are looking at. again good luck in your build up!

Your going to be excessively hotttttttttttt. That isn't near enough charger for that much injector unless they aren't really making that much power. If it would work you would be 600hp or over. My Sledpuller works very well with my combo and I still tow with it but I only have Mach 4s which are "rated" 130 less hp than what yours are. I can hit 1600 degrees on a 1/4 mile pass with the TST on 9. I haven't been back on the dyno since going with the 4s and the stacked boxes but I ran a 12.84 at 102mph so I figure I'm somewhere in the 520 range with my 150hp injectors.

Its not just about boost pressure, it's cylinder pressure..... When you make HP you increase cylinder pressure and HG's pop. I have seen one go on a truck that was wastegated @ 40 psi but made 600 RWHP.

save your money on the superchips you are already outta that league, the same cash will be well spent on head studs.
