thinking about Goarends, Suncoast, HTS, or Eeast Coast Diesel as of now...trying to find out the best option(s) for my application...

 

I just did my trans with a Goerand tripple disk converter and valve body with some other improved parts and I am extreamly happy it's just like a new truck!! Call Dave and you won't regret it!!

 

i called dave a couple days ago and had a long talk with him bout a new tc and vb but he said with the miles i had i should prolly get another input shaft 1-2 lever and a few other little things i was just wondering what other high milage trannys are doing with just the triple disc tc and vb from dave with the power adds i have and as soon as i get this im gettin the smarty but this is first. suggestions??

 

I had my trans rebuilt with heavy duty parts recommended by Dave and used his triple disk TC and a Transgo Kit. My builder called Dave and picked his brain about how he sets up the VB. Many others here will agree that Dave is a heck of a nice guy. After putting about 1000 miles on it I am very happy. It just feels so much stronger.

If you have a lot of miles you should probably follow Dave's suggestions about replacing parts. My trans guy showed me all the hard parts he pulled out of mine, and some of them were quite worn. Even though my truck was still driving ok, the converter was on its way out and the thing was really loose. The only problem I was having was TC shudder during lockup with moderate throttle.
