I'm not familiar with the company, but the warranty sounds good. Are they rated for max horsepower?

Re:Goerend Brothers Transmission

they are about 30- 35 minutes south east of me! They do awsome work! see their adds in the paper all the time. my old boss had his 89 cummins auto rebiult there, kindof on the spendy side, but well worth the money! they dyno the tranny before the put it back in the truck. I would like to go down there sometime and watch them do it! How did you hear about them?

Got a website or phone number for them? I'm still looking around for a bullet proof auto that can stand up to continuous low 12 sec passes. And maybe even tow some.

Re:Goerend Brothers Transmission

I have got their single disc trans in mine. Did all the work myself last Sept put over 10k miles on it so far no problems. They are great to deal with, Dave the owner gave me his home phone number in case I had problems and they did not charge me a core charge so long as I sent everything back within 2 weeks. I should be putting more han 400hp through it, will know the amount for sure after Clairmont. If you have any other questions let me know. Tim

Re:Goerend Brothers Transmission

The Website is here, Dave Goerend. I've emailed him with some questions and he replied giving me lots of info and tips. He sounds very knowledgeable. He said he'd work with a local tranny shop if I wanted to buy parts from him and get my trans rebuilt locally. Seems like a decent guy to deal with. I've seen someone on this site that has a Goerend trans in their signature. Hopefully they'll see this thread and respond.

I used to run their single disc converter, i was slipping it pretty bad, so i moved up to their triple disc...it works very well, and i also had Dave custom build me a valve body as well...the Customer service at Goerend Bros. is outstanding, i give them 10 thumbs up ;D

Stakeman...you know i'm not quite sure what the internals look like...i'd like to compare to the ATS setup though...this converter is VERY stout though...it has a kind of noisy scratchy idle to it, sounds cool. ;D
