What happens when you need to fix a flat or even have new tires put on? Sounds cool but I just dont see how it could work well. Plus I would think they would eventually bang them selves up and be no good.

I had a nail hole patched from the inside and didn't lose any beads but I warned the tire guy they were in there. I've never done it but I'll bet after a flat repair it's probably a good idea to have your tires rebalanced, no need to with beads.
All I know is they work excellent for me.
Asked the manager at the local tire shop about anti-freeze, he said it works ok but you must use premix or 50% water because anti-freeze alone will gel up in the cold. He also said to use the non-toxic or RV anti-freeze type due to a leak of toxic material in a blowout that could get you in trouble. I can see this happening considering a friend of mine got a $500 toxic cleanup bill after his radiator was punctured in a wreck and leaked anti-freeze at the accident site. He said a fire truck came and vacuumed it up.

I agree with Infidel. I have had not problems with my ceramic beads. Have lasted about 10,000 miles and tires are wearing very well. They even straightened out my cupping on the front tires. I rotate tires about every 7000 miles now instead of the typical 3000 for my 1st gen.

Most fix a flat products will eventually turn soild and throw your tires way out of balance, that's why it's a temporary flat fix so that during the real tire repair the fix a flat can be removed.
Most fix a flat products say not to go over 45 mph.
