Where? Is there any place cheaper or better to get one from? Looking to get the 13" FE...

I have a quick question about SBC clutches.

When you buy one, does it come with a new flywheel, or do you have to machine you old, or just don't worry about it?

TIA,

Joe

When I bought mine it came as a complete kit (new flywheel, pilot bearing, throwout bearing and clutch OFE CON). It was a upgrade form a (12.5"?) to a 13". I ordered it directly from Southbend.

upgrade to the 13" it doesn't seem like much but it really helps, especially if you need the flywheel anyway

Last time I talked to Peter, just before I bought mine, he doesn't recommend the clutch only upgrade on the stock 12.5". Center section failures. Now that there isn't a core on the old flywheel, the price includes (in the Con FE kit) the flywheel and new roller pilot bearing.

I got a good deal on a Fe through TiminVa. Never installed because Tim found me a trade for a dual disk TiminVa is the man!
