I have a quick question about SBC clutches.
When you buy one, does it come with a new flywheel, or do you have to machine you old, or just don't worry about it?
TIA,
Joe

When I bought mine it came as a complete kit (new flywheel, pilot bearing, throwout bearing and clutch OFE CON). It was a upgrade form a (12.5"?) to a 13". I ordered it directly from Southbend.

upgrade to the 13" it doesn't seem like much but it really helps, especially if you need the flywheel anyway

yes that is lary. if you get the answering machine leave a number and message he is great about getting back to us. also doesnt hurt after leaving said message, to send him a PM to let him know more details.

Last time I talked to Peter, just before I bought mine, he doesn't recommend the clutch only upgrade on the stock 12.5". Center section failures. Now that there isn't a core on the old flywheel, the price includes (in the Con FE kit) the flywheel and new roller pilot bearing.

I got a good deal on a Fe through TiminVa. Never installed because Tim found me a trade for a dual disk
TiminVa is the man!
