Keep it up, good job. Unlock the converter at 3500 to avoid falling under the charger? How big is that thing? Truck looks really nice, clean.

Good hooks Garrett! Glad to see you got the spoolup issue fixed, and ALRIGHT single stacks are the way to go!

Great pull at Harrisburg - that was without your front weights!!!!

After watching your pulls I think I may have a bad overflow valve or lift pump. My 64/14 can clear up the smoke by mid-track (the temps are off the chart though). I would think that with our pumps being similar (laser cut dv's, 435's, recalibrated pumps) that your bigger turbo would clear better unless it isn't spooled up as much (but it sounds like it is). I'm also running a #100 plate that is set in the middle and a very tight star-wheel so may down on fueling. I may have to drop a new overflow or at least check fuel pressures. Also having some rough idle and tranny issues after last pulls

Garret, are you running a FASS or other aftermarket fuel pump?

Keep up the great pulls.

Thanks!, About the weights, that was only at 7500lbs! (stupid weight rule)

Currently I have a nicely tuned 215HP pump on my truck.. its around 460ccs.
I am only running 191's at the moment as well.

I ditched the stock fuel system and use an Aeromotive 1000 pump, 10 micron filter, and 5/8's stand tube to -10 line to the pump.

7500 #! What did you have to throw out to make weight

Now you really make me wonder about a fuel pump. My 180 pump was tuned to 433 cc's with some 191's before I had the lazer cuts. I know that 30 cc is a lot of difference but I would think the turbo size could/should compensate for that. I'm not unhappy that I don't blow black smoke all the way down the track but I'm not sure I'm getting everything out of it I could. It pulls hard and doesn't fall off just looses traction. It does dump a lot of fuel early so I may be better off going back to the 191's. I'll have to check fuel pressures sometime and maybe a high-flow pump is in the future. Thanks for info.

This hook in my opinion is the nicest looking one all year, it felt GOOD!
Too bad it was only a test hook, I broke the front driveshaft cv joint on the "official" hook on the launch

Your truck is hauling some butt! what kind of wheel speeds are you seeing? do you have air bags or blocks in the back?
